I hate to spoil the fun but the first thing to ask when building a mobile app (if you're talking about a native app) is whether it needs to be an app in the first place. Could it be a PWA? Before that, could it be a blog post, or a social media account?

Design and ideas can be validated using any of these lightweight vehicles before committing to the complexities of an app (native or not)

I say this because you mentioned she's a business analyst so I'm assuming she's not familiar with the MVP led approach

Apps are a lot more technically constrained than websites, and websites are are more constrained than blogs / social media
