one insane thing they donβt tell coastal refugees about living in Texas is that deep into the night it might still be 90 degrees. there is no escape.

what I keep front of mind: Texas critters & heat are like hypergolic fuel & air. just escaping the critters is a noteworthy success. and indoor plants help somewhat w/ cooling. there's no reason for an open window.
