1 an explosion of L2s are coming
2 block space will be commoditized
3 brand will become the differentiating factor
4 we'll soon see many "L2 for X" narratives
5 some will seed supply by incentivizing developers
6 some will seed demand by incentivizing users
7 fragmentation will make ux much worse

not sure if brands differentiate the L2 itself, imho the very best UX will manifest as a brand that piggybacks as many L2s for convenience.

I agree with that – I don’t imagine L2s being able to build the brand equity to differentiate strongly. For me it’s like using TCP or UDP — they each have their advantages but I don’t care which one is used by my apps. The winner will be the seamless integrator, the Apple of crypto that hides the complexity
