warning: speculation if economics is the sum of choices between resources one has and resources one demands, then resource-gathering is the original PMF. post-ag is choosing where calorie-burning time goes for "modern" income for modern goods/services post-industrial is broadcasting the signal from sum of choices for life experience why is "noise" treated like a liability? because it is. next era will be post-Maslow's. low-SNR "sum of choices" and "life experience" can be synthetic & commoditized. highest-SNR is prediction. "Mag 7" has to emphasize the chain up to the motivating personal effects (e.g. XR) that can gather prediction for pathfinding (e.g. Amazon Flex). I think of using Google-fu for the thrill of hunting FTP treasure, though now it's an obsolete experience. the post-Maslow's analogue would be like vibe-coding a cheaper/faster metaverse that uniquely solves some pathfinder's remaining uncertainty. once physical Turing test is crossed, predictive control for apex comfort will be the moat.

"the chain up to the motivating personal effects" is a Maslow problem. using Aaron Swartz's "Theory of Change" how does the brand of personal assistant actualize the user's unique signal? if not that, then how does it augment the user's esteem? if not that, then how does it relieve the user? then picture from the hierarchy's base. where's the "Mcdonald's franchise" of an ADU network? which sprawled neighborhoods extend to this? which extend to serve high-quality diet with minimal caloric deficit? which robotaxi networks are net-profitable to bootstrap from? which grids/vehicles extend to this? ...where does the predictive user's electrical demand get served? what distributes the prefabs? where is the assembly/maintenance labor most crunched? where does labor input not generalize?
