Did 0xPARC's Hack Lodge in college. Changed the game for me. So much so that we (@seismic & @argus) replicated the lodge's core tenets w/ a group of UPenn builders last week.

Yielded a demo that 1) displayed a mechanic that's novel to blockchains, and 2) has a shot at being seminal work. 

Would recommend! Strongly believe this is the only hackathon format that is well worth the time and effort.

Was insanely productive for both of our product roadmaps.

Why? We didn't run it like a hackathon. 

Instead of shotgunning a hundred half-baked ideas, we focused on validating 𝐨𝐧𝐞 rigorous hypothesis.
