In my opinion, it is a well thought-out marketing campaign. 
You promise a discount, thereby motivating people to buy everything, even what you don't really need. Because often you can't stop yourself and are guided by emotions that you seem to be getting more. But this is an illusion - and in fact, you are spending, giving away your money.💰 
More and more often, when comparing Black Friday prices, it turns out that they are not so reduced. Some stores speculate on this, raising the real price the day before and lowering it to the regular price on Black Friday.
Of course, if you really want to buy something for yourself and please yourself with discounts, then do not deny yourself this pleasure, but remember that there are many more sales ahead.
Personally, I haven't made any shopping lists, and I don't plan to buy anything yet. Besides, I don't like this day because of the lack of the necessary sizes of clothes and the crowds of people in shopping centres.
