TOPIC OF THE DAY. As for me, I recently learned about the concept of āmental subtraction of positive events.ā Itās a mindset technique where you imagine what your life would be like if a certain positive event or relationship hadnāt happened. Itās meant to foster gratitude by shifting your focus from whatās missing to whatās present. It stuck with me because I tend to take the good things in my life for granted while fixating on what I lack. This exercise has helped me pause and genuinely appreciate the small, meaningful parts of my lifeāthings Iād sorely miss if they were gone. Itās not always easy, but itās powerful.
