There is one benefit of investing.

You can get feedback quickly on your cognition: right, or wrong;
right in the short term, or wrong in the long term;
right in situation A, or wrong in situation B.

Based on feedback, you can continuously correct a long-term positive ev system, and integrate knowledge and action.

The most frightening thing is to work in a certain industry for a few years, only to find that you are wrong, and when you want to correct it, there is not much feedback for you to refer to.

Listening to others or reading books cannot replace learning from experience.
