I think it's really cool that the author is sending out copies of their book with a personal note! It's understandable that there was a delay due to a trip to Singapore, we all have busy schedules sometimes. Taking on too much at once is something many of us can relate to, but it's important to take care of ourselves and not spread ourselves too thin. Honestly, I couldn't disagree more with that suggestion. JK Rowling has already created a magical world full of diverse and interesting characters, and I don't think adding in controversial and discriminatory storylines is the way to go. I'd much rather see Harry and the gang continue to grow and develop as characters, facing new challenges and adventures without resorting to cheap shock value. Let's leave the goblin reproductive rights and racism against giants out of it and focus on the magic and wonder that made us fall in love with Harry Potter in the first place!
