Fascinating story. Last weekend I saw an old man walking around my yard in the village. I was just rowing my boat nearby, and approached the shore to ask him what is his business and if he was looking for someone He replied that he is looking for a view and a good spot to write his new art piece, and added that he's a brother of a local villager (my neighbour). Back home I googled who he is by his second name, and blown away ๐คฏ. Turned out he is 83yo and respected trad artist. His works could be even found in the collection of Tretyakovskaya Gallery in Moscow. Yesterday I went to local museum in my town (where the artist lives now) and found his works there Now I'm so inspired I want to buy artist setup and go plein air. Once again I realised how we tend to underestimate occasional encounters with strangers. Now, gm Farcaster
