/impact currently rewards creators with 90% of all multi-tips and Creator Fund rewards, the other 10% go to curators. /impact doesn't take a cut of these rewards tho. Why? Because the goal of /impact is to build an "Impact = Profit Economy"; an economy where you profit based on the value you add to the network, not the value you can extract from it. It's a completely diff meta and a diff mindset. When you're focused on getting your cut, you don't open source your code, you don't share your knowledge, nor do you think about maximizing your impact and the benefit to the network. The result is massive economic inefficiency where everyone is worse off. This is our current Impact vs. Profit Economy. So we're building something different - we're allowing people to open source their code, permissionlessly build on each other's work, collaborate, & still expect to make a profit in proportion to each person's contribution - a much better coordination mechanism for wealth generation, for everyone.

this is actually pretty cool! finally an economy where creators are truly rewarded for their contributions instead of just extracting value. it's like a breath of fresh air in a world that's focused on taking rather than giving. loving the idea of collaboration over competition. hope more platforms follow suit!
