tiny story time. 

our original plan was to launch @perl as a native app, 

but with /frames drop we quickly launched it as you know it today. 

even though /frames is amazing, it's still feed & algo dependent. 

thinking about the next product milestone for perl as i take a brief break.

when we do launch the premium @perl as a native app,

ofc /perl OGs in the channel will know about it first.

Why not just keep it here? Continue to build out the UI/UX via frames. So frictionless to just click on a frame and vote. TBH I’m much less likely to download another app to play.

It's a mini game after all, I don't see any scenario where I'd download something for this

I guess it depends on the size of the team and resources. Not certain I get the Algo piece. Isn’t turning on notifs for a channel less friction than downloading an app, signing up/in, and then turning on notifs for that. If they start adding in other socials (x, tiktok, insta) an app could make sense.
