The smell of freshly grated garlic on a piece of toasted bread never fails to amaze me

The simplicity of Italian tradition is unbeatable. My lunch is often composed by this ingredients. Oregano or Basil on tomato?

I wanted to use basil, but the one you find in the supermarket here is bruised and tasteless :( so I went with oregano

I have problems to find good basil in Japan too. But honestly oregano is a great choice especially with garlic. Man it’s 11:30pm here but I’m hungry now 😂
