I don't know if I'll be able to articulate what I want to say: I'm always struck by sentences like: "it's 2024 and certain things should be overcome". Are we so sure that 2024 is the future? Why do we take it for granted that we live in an advanced era? After all, even the people of the Middle Ages thought the same of the ancients. We live in our era, which we consider modern but who knows, in 3024 what they will think of us, if there is anything left to remember.
