Did the Fan Token bidding frame just change from asking for number of tokens to asking for total volume you're willing to spend? Or was it always this way and I'm just imagining things?

it doesn't ask you for number of tokens anymore, so I wouldn't sweat it. Personal strategy (that's purely intuition, not math) is heavy on farcaster infra, evergreen channels, and FC founders. Also those who might provide utility through their tokens.
