Did the Fan Token bidding frame just change from asking for number of tokens to asking for total volume you're willing to spend?

Or was it always this way and I'm just imagining things?

As long as your max. price is equal/below the Clearing Price the auction will try to fill as much of your budget as possible!

it doesn't ask you for number of tokens anymore, so I wouldn't sweat it. 

Personal strategy (that's purely intuition, not math) is heavy on farcaster infra, evergreen channels, and FC founders. Also those who might provide utility through their tokens.

Didn’t realize the second step of the Moxie Fan Token auction flow changed from “number of fan tokens wanted” to “total $MOXIE to bid”.

Pretty sure I ended up bidding for far fewer Fan Tokens than I actually wanted on several occasions yesterday 😅

yeah, I had to divide by volume to get # of tokens when I made the bid screen. This makes things cleaner

Thats the way it was set up in the contract I think, and people are just starting to realize this now

Yeah, but it was necessary. We were getting some bad auction behavior where people would bid 3,000,000 moxie for 0.1 token and screw up the clearing price
