One of my favorite cafes is run by a husband and wife on the Philosopher’s Path. She does all the baking and my lunch set was $5 (800¥). I also got a little orange cake to go for later. I had the cafe to myself. I felt like a celebrity with a restaurant shut down just for them, but also like an animal in a zoo as everyone really did a doubled take when they caught my eye.
