Likes were an experiment. They were nice, but didn’t do much for creators or the network.

I really liked Likes, as a way to show support when I don’t have credits, but more importantly to show respect for the work even though I wouldn’t add it to my collection, which is a specific aesthetic/vibe. I used Likes judiciously. Really disappointed to see them gone. Hope you reconsider.

Here’s the difference: Where before I could scroll through my feed and throw Likes at great work so the artists would hopefully feel a sliver of appreciation, especially those with few followers (like friends I’ve newly onboarded, not just to Rodeo but to NFTs), now I can do nothing. A palpably worse experience.
