I think there are occasionally some issues with file sizes and formats, I haven't shared many videos recently @scizors.eth might know more

there are some limitations, I think it can't be more than 5 minutes long, I don't think you can post a video in a recast, and I don't think you can post a video in direct messages sometimes it just glitches out and doesn't do my video. I've been having more trouble with it lately than not. to be honest, I'm not sure if I've been able to get a video to post in a while
