not the first time I hear something like this been going down a deep rabbit hole on intelligence agencies fascinated to read more about their methods because their main criteria to select them is closest to 'this simply works' than any other place deeply convinced intelligence officers i.e. the people responsible for managing assets would make cracked investors for instance (deep understanding of psychology, risk management, and influence tactics) https://x.com/JoshuaClaybourn/status/1873592993749590500

share this obsession big time agencies already operate effectively within markets: doing so often enables covert ops, dark funding, or helps them achieve something operationally that depends on markets iran-contra, crypto AG psychology part also relates to how intel communities use post-op, PR strategies which feels super relevant too. Not just investing in the right company but telling the right story. see CIA involvement in variety of hollywood movies - using Zero Dark Thirty to tell a story (lie) about the role tortue played in getting to Bin Laden think its hard to take intel methodology outside of the particular ethical & moral territory these agencies function in though - beyond the law
