Attention is upstream of infrastructure. Own the app layer. Would not be surprised to see app layer acquisitions from Anthropic (Browser Company since Mike K is on the board and CPO at Anthropic) and OpenAI. Cursor <> OpenAI? Or maybe access to frontier models is sufficient to drive installs of homegrown products.
