Work in progress The words we use to describe "money deployed into an instrument / transaction with expectation of future upside" The words implicitly carry a judgement on the activity based on 1) duration 2) perceived value. Haven't found a word for the bottom right quadrant.

probably sth like “seeding” - like seed funding, in a way that it’s different from a solid investment as it’s more speculative and belief-driven. but chances are gambling can be “more valuable” for some ppl, so the top/bottom might be more about “calculated vs speculative” Investing: Calculated belief based on data Seeding: Intuitive belief based on vision Gambling: Belief based on chance Trading: Belief based on short-term patterns
