on forearm pain when doing easy barbell curls. if you had this issue and found a solution please reply and I'm gonna try them out.

when i was into powerlifting (not an expert there, i was doing it only for 1-1,5 year with a coach), i experienced the same issue, both with straight and ez, and from what i remember: it was mostly happening when trying the extreme personal weight - and due to that i was messing the technique and was kinda over-gripping the barbell, squeezing it too tight and it resulted in forearm overload instead of actual biceps working - i think in my case this was the reason. maybe also incorrect elbow/wrist position issue. increasing the weight gradually and maintaining the correct technique worked for me. was also occasionally doing dumbbell curls, they somehow felt more natural and not that traumatic. increasing flexibility might also be good as you mentioned.

Yeah I’ve been thinking of exactly same, will try to involve my forearms lees and involve shoulders more at the end of the rep
