It's incredible how much tiktok is influencing music culture. ex: Increasing average song tempo, shortening song & set lengths.

I think one underappreciated thing is it might be making audiences more open minded since they're used to watching whatever the algo serves up.

Yup, audience is now more open-minded thanks to tiktok. GTK that oldie goldies like September (Earth, Wind & Fire) went through a revival thanks to this platform (iirc)

Although I'm concerned on how these platforms considerably altered the way we consume music, it's definitely not the way it was even 5 years ago!
