Hot yoga. Power yoga. Barely a week ago I knew nothing of this vast landscape of deep stretches and restorative relaxation.
Now, thanks to @loriann and @tldr, I know for certain that I know nothing.
Diving into this vast landscape, I am now the owner of a basic set of yoga equipment. But who would have guessed how many routes I could take! Pro mats, eco mats, ultimate mats. I won’t tell you how many quizzes I did “to find my soul mat”, but I will tell you I ended up with the yoga rug instead.
But that’s not all! I then discovered blocks, bolsters, towels, and a world of accessories. And don’t forget the clothes, which are the only thing I haven’t bought on my employer’s budget.
With equipment in hand, I attended Lori’s Yin Yoga session async and ended up in all kinds of poses. I’m hilariously space constrained, and somewhat flexibility constrained, so I don’t think I did many of them very well, but it’s called a practice for a reason. 1 reply
