My mind is blown when I talk to some "micro-service cloud guy", they have their WHOLE stack as cloud components, written in terraform. The vendor lock-in is just insane + the costs are ridiculous

My suspicion is that this isn‘t only your average „cloud guy.“ It‘s everyone! If you, e.g., watch „Fireship“ on Youtube, this guy probably doesn‘t even know how the shell works. Everything is some fresh Vercel IntelliJ magic. Dunno, now I sound like an old man yelling at cloud, but we need interoperabilit
