To my friends who listen to vinyl records, do you take a particular approach to the medium? For example, do you listen only to specific types of music on vinyl, or only listen to vinyl during certain activities, or any other deliberate approach? https://media.tenor.com/ISvmOt1UJAIAAAAC/music-addams-family

i just have a vinyl collection from collecting pre-digital and listen to those i tend to listen to them when i am doing chores around the house and will want a break every 20 minutes or so - don't normally listen to them while working on art because then i have to go choose another record and it breaks my concentration

Love it. I have a similar approach in relation to the timing. I'll listen to an album when I workout because I can focus a lot of my attention on the music and the break between album sides usually works well as a break from the workout. In general, I'll listen while doing chores and, ideally, I'll play a record when I can just sit there and listen.
