Not really. Its what i do. But maybe sometimes dont use the word artist. More graffiti writer, painter, liminal space maker, goofy AI experimenter.

I sometimes say different things as well, like I make noise or I make super niche music. It’s usually something that gets closer to what I actually compose because calling myself a composer puts specific imagery in peoples’ minds. It also feels so finalized, like I do some polished thing over and over. Though my training and practice say composer on paper, it feels better being in a constant state of exploration.
