Hey aesthetica! This is great. I don’t think I have anything with a prominent bail note, but I’ve been loving fresh greens lately. Philosykos by Dyptyque is one of my favorites. A bit of fig.

Just looked up Zoologist Bee and sounds delicious. I happen to live in the “beehive state”, so would be appropriate. I’ll have to find a sample or decant.

just did a side by side those morning to decide between some basil or lavender scents for the morning atmosphere...

have been wearing Zoologist Bee of late (after not wearing for over a year or so?) and some of Pomare's creations...

at the moment considering if I should revisit matcha-tea scents (I never found one I loved enough to full bottle) and the Clue perfumes, since one of my favorite shops just started carrying...

Oooh, mossy rain sounds delicious. I have never heard of tomato in a fragrance, but I'm intrigued. Sometimes scents that seem weird end up being really good. However, some enthusiasts and perfumers go as far as using semen. lol

And that's a very interesting observation. When it comes to deliberate use of fragrance, we kind of do it at a higher level, I'd say. My wife and I are very much into choosing the right scent 'color' that adds the scent-vibe of whatever we're wearing, the weather, and where we're going. And often it's just for each other. But we are very conscious of the various intensities of them as well and make a point not to be offensive or calling too much attention to ourselves with it. It's a game of balance. Just like animals, it's communication, only we can be more nuanced.

we are a very no-fragrance family now and are soooo sensitive to smells but the last one i think i bought was like a mossy rain scent and previously i really liked a tomato scent 

but i have worked with scent detection dogs so odor some to mind in a different context and like to think about how humans don't value the ability to scent very much while other animals use it a lot...
