ELI5 incentives, and corresponding user actions that does not hinder trust. People are platform thinkers. They distrust the moment they think “why do I have to download X”.

Need to educate ppl why decentralisation? Imo that's the first hurdle. Most don't realize that.

Maybe this is cliche at this point, but I'd still say on-boarding & education. I think its easy for people who are used to the hurdles & have been in this space for a while to loose sight and realize it could be much better with the aid of good design.
