It definitely gets better. I remember finding the first seasons ok but then down the line it gets gooood. Comparably good as Breaking Bad. I've seen people say that they found it better than Breaking Bad even.

it's definitely slower/less explosive than breaking bad and that doesn't change, but it's WAY more polished in every other way.
