Five years from now, what will be seen as a more impactful launch this year: GPT 4 or Apple headset?

GPT4 is more impactful but consumers will think Apple Headset is more impactful. In 5 years, the magic of GPT4 fades to the background and we take it granted i.e. reversion to the mean analogy: having a smart phone is baseline but as kids, if you were told you would have a computer in your hand, we'd call it magic
