As a woman who has worked in male dominated industries my whole life I have to say this has always been America, unfortunately.

Seems like it is a common resume feature for sure. He got divorced twice, both times due to cheating on his wife with a co worker. I'm gonna guess this might be related without having a chance to read up on the deetz first.
