Haha yeah not the best docs. I think with a prize this large they will force you to buy a key, aka open a gate

So you’ll have to find a caster who doesn’t have their gate open yet and mint the key. Your prize will be used to discount the fee, could completely cover it if you find one for that price

During what process/transaction?
There is a fee to mint the gate key, and it varies depending on how “popular” the caster is. More popular = more expensive. So if your prize was 900 it will subtract that from the fee and you’d have to provide the rest. When you hold the key, you get a percentage of any subsequent degen buy into that gate.

But you should be able to find one for 900 degen or less, they’d just be a pretty small profile. It’s def a weird system that they don’t explain that well. I’ve made some degen through it but it’s nothing crazy. If you get a smaller prize, like around 100 degen or less, you can use it to invest in an opened gate and you wouldn’t have to provide any of your own degen

So, why is it trying to take degen out of my wallet?
