i think if people want tokens they should pay for them

nothing good comes from handing out exposure for free

I think most airdrops are terrible AND I think there is some room for positive airdropping.

I think the Optimism airdrops were done well, for instance.  They basically identified the audience they wanted and gave them a way to join the community.

Most communities probably shouldn’t airdrop but it could still be a useful mechanism.
