IMHO the best thing the democrats could do is go full red wedding / MBH on the elderly in their party right now Get the top people under 60 together to do a concerted PR campaign to force a reset Make age limits a core tenant of the platform, ideally under Trumps age Frankly Jared Polis should be the nominee

We have the same problem in Canada. Every political party has been favouring boomers for so long that only fringe elements appeal at all to young voters. Millennials stuck in the middle between boomers who are only in it for themselves and Zās who are voting for insane people.
