Super interesting film. I saw it in Berlin and could feel just a smidge of Schadenfreude in the Euro hipster audience.

One of the most artful parts was making this feel unrelated to the topical political debate – so we could focus on costs of war (eg, seeing comfy places like malls and ponds become eeire/dangerous)

The mark of a good film for me is how long I think about it after I watch it.

It was far less gorey than Annihilation but still lots of people getting shot.  Just not overt gore

How was the gore factor compared to the earlier films?
