I should put this on a tshirt and sell it via a frame. The protocol has 641k users who have at least 1 storage unit, yet there are 211k users who have never casted before. How many people talk about that?

Isn’t it common knowledge at this point that 90% of people are lurkers on social?

I dunno, the “inflated DAU” conversation never made much sense to me.  How does it affect anyone negatively?

I think the spam from farmers/bots affects us all negatively because it dilutes the conversation and makes it harder to tell who is real / relevant.

But that has nothing to do with the lurker/poster ratio, which is why I called it out.

Spam is a separate issue to me than DAU counts.

I’m confused why people are annoyed that MM publishes user counts including “spammers”.  Are people saying DAU counts show spam is a problem?  Or do they have some other gripe?

yeah I don't get it either. it doesn't help them to have a network full of bots. if anything, it's clear that of all crypto projects, merkle is one of / the most earnest in trying to combat it.
