How was the gore factor compared to the earlier films?

It was far less gorey than Annihilation but still lots of people getting shot.  Just not overt gore

I feel you.  It’s like these little jerks made me more human or something.

Ah okay. That is much more manageable. Every since I had kids, I can't stomach visceral gore anymore.
