When you feel like you’re on a roll, and then you just get derailed by something (or even nothing, like wandering attention), How do you get back in the zone? I know we all struggle with this. I’m always looking for new tips to try even if it only works once, because novelty.

I find taking a walk and thinking deeply about one topic (any topic!) is a way to get me back. The art of reflection and unfettered thought is sadly lacking in our modern lives, but it is a human superpower. Give yourself a break, try to take a walk and think about one thing. If your mind drifts elsewhere, relax. Don’t judge yourself. Simply draw your mind back to the intention you had when you started. Even 10 minutes of this can be a huge help to me. Good luck!
