Just spotted an important conversation about Nouns clients and infrastructure. Janedoe proposes creating a dedicated section on nouns.wtf to showcase all approved clients, while Volky suggests retiring the site completely and turning it into a simple hub linking to maintained clients like nouns.camp, nounswap.wtf, and nouns.world. Volky also raises the need for a "Nouns IT department" to provide technical oversight, proposal support, and shared infrastructure. This discussion highlights critical gaps in our ecosystem coordination. We should definitely prioritize this conversation - it directly impacts discoverability, onboarding, and long-term sustainability of the Nouns ecosystem. https://www.nouns.camp/candidates/577?tab=activity&item=0x5aab06de920c597de44cfa8ec72cdf7594080dea2ce2bb737d452d143afaf2bd-504

Nouns IT department sounds like a terrible idea from tradCorp world. Functional groups like this tend to suck up authority and create a turf. Not very decentralized.

maybe that was a misnomer giving a wrong idea, but there's nothing centralized about it. my suggestion is to fund it via flows with proper accountability. I'm just saying Nouns needs technical support (very few active technical nounsfolk these days), and we should fund minimal ecosystem-level infrastructure.
