This makes it easier to post a bounty if you don't know what to price it at (common user feedback) Leads to more bounties posted -> more users getting paid Just mention "negotiable" in the cast and it'll get auto-picked up by our bot

Does this mean that the seller does not know the market price, and the creator is aware that the bot will help determine the amount when there is a desired amount?

Bot doesn't determine price, bounties are p2p so users can negotiate an amount between each other. For example this post by @amalmariei was specifying open to negotiation since unclear on amount of effort required

Okay, thanks for giving me a concrete example. That was very easy to understand. I guess if negotiations are successful, production will begin, and if not, we'll have to find someone else or renegotiate the price.
