Stopped by the EVE Online monument in Reykjavík. Has over half a million player names engraved into it. Not necessarily worth going out of your way for but thought it was a cool physical tribute to an online world ￼

I remember stopped playing it, but bought a sub that month just to be on that thingie. Something magical being part of an immutable structure. Blockchain before blockchains.

I visited it with some friends some years ago and we had fun hunting for all of the usernames we knew. 😀
