I've watched way too many videos of the risk behind brands so closely tied to one personality if they get into a scandal, get burnout, public loses interest e.g. David Dobrik with app Dispo. Totally see this being big but my VC side is skeptical of $5bn val with such a close tie to the creator

Pretty smart IMO - I think we'll see more of this 

He's captured more attention than any other creator on earth, and if he can continue to convert that into products, there's definitely a venture-scale business here

And iirc, Social Capital already invested in his holdco, so this wouldn't be the first time he's raised

Curious to see which VCs jump into this deal. 

Is MrBeast’s business really worth $5B, or is this hype-driven?
