AMA about the EF, I'll answer whatever I can!

Are you able to share why the EF doesn't stake its ETH? I didn't realize this until someone stated yesterday, seems like a great potential source of income for the org

Actually insane

EF could easily stake ETH and use DeFi to cover most if not all of their internal budget

This is getting extremely tough to defend

@econoar The concerns historically were (1) regulatory, (2) if EF stakes ourselves, this de-facto forces us to take a position on any future contentious hard fork.

(1) is less than before, (2) remains. There's definitely ways to minimize (2), and we're recently been exploring them.
