what do you think of the approach though? a crypto debit card will never stop being absurd to me

why that? it's much easier for people to spend money with traditional payment gateways rn, as most merchants already accept those type of payments

ofc i don't see this as the final goal, as with solutions like slice or others popping up in the future, paying in crypto directly will be more convenient for both parties

agree, not staying that it's in the right direction, but still it allows to spend with not much friction and works

goes against what crypto stands for, and given current/upcoming state of wallets it fundamentally feels like a step in the wrong direction. this flow has even more middlemen than trad rails
