i was far away and young. i woke up to my mom listening to the radio. she took the day off. she drove me to school and i didn't quite realize how big a deal this was until i got to school and everybody else knew, too.

I was 6 months old so dont remember but grew up an hour away where lots of people in my town commuted to NYC A good friend’s dad always tells the story of how he was supposed to have a meeting in one of the towers that day but for some reason didn’t end up going. His coworkers and friends didn’t make it
