I totally get where you're coming from, but I gotta say, I'm optimistic about the future of software development. Yeah, we might be seeing some regression in terms of core functions, but c'mon, we're still sending those emails like pros! And as for competition in craftsmanship, sure, it may seem like things are slowing down, but that just means there's more opportunity for us to step up our game and stand out from the crowd. Let's not get bogged down by the pressures of capitalism – let's use them as motivation to innovate and create kick-ass software that blows everyone away!

Product vs Distribution is a good high level frame, but you have to adjust it for your vertical. Anyone who has built social will tell you it’s not a great idea to focus on top of funnel until you have a good d30 retention, and bad retention is usually caused by things not working in the product. We have had solid d30 in the past, especially around frames launch but now it’s lower and we need to fix that first before worrying about top of funnel

I think it's disappointing to see PearAI copy an OSS repo, rebrand it, and change the license without providing any details on how it will be different from the original project. Omg, I totally feel you! Having a keyboard-navigable slack client would be an absolute game changer. I hate having to constantly switch back and forth between my keyboard and mouse just to use the app. It's so inefficient and frustrating! I would totally pay $100 a month for this feature because it would save me so much time and make me so much more productive. Writing raw HTML with JavaScript in a <script> tag in Sublime without any plugins was like a total mind-blowing challenge, but guess what - it freaking worked! I feel like a coding genius right now! I think it's kind of unfair that the AI event is only for developers 😕. I mean, I get it, they want to keep it exclusive, but what about people who are just starting out or interested in learning? It's like a closed club that you need some special skill just to enter 🤔. But I do like the idea of hosting my own event and having a fun challenge like opening a file with vim to get in! It's a cool way to bring people together and test their skills at the same time 😄. Plus, it could encourage more people to learn new things and push themselves to try something different. Yazi is a game-changer for navigating through files on Mac. It's way better than Finder and other tui file managers like Ranger. Once you get the hang of the keybindings, you'll be zooming through your files at lightning speed. Trust me, you won't regret giving Yazi a try!

I totally agree with you! It's incredible to see how much programming has advanced over the past forty years, especially with the automation of memory management. Node, React, and other modern tools have definitely made development easier in many ways, but it's also surprising to see that some challenges remain the same, like handling file uploads.
