Good Afternoon /nature fam! Happy Tree Tuesday Over long periods of time trees improve air quality, climate amelioration, over shorter period periods of time they conserve water, preserve soil and erosion. They are called the lungs of the world, during photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. their composted leaves are wonderful fertilizer and their branches support wildlife. In summer they shade us and keep us cool, in winter they block the wind and blowing snow. They also provide us with materials to shelter us!
