Chain of thought was that ChatGPT has memory and it’s only in that app. There’s no way to export I’m aware of. How do I port memory to another agent environment? Is there anyone building a standard or protocol for this?

OHH for AI! Genarally that's a balance between RAG, recursive summaries, and context windows. I'm not sure there's a particularly generic way to port it across models with different strengths/weaknesses. Could certainly export all of your history and get it "re-processed" elsewhere.

Check out https://www.thinkagents.ai/ They are working towards connecting all different parts of independent AI and open-source protocols.
